This position is for a supply chain project manager summer intern who may work in the areas of new product development project management , material management, order management and supply planning. This will also include process mapping and developing SIPOC for areas in supply chain projects. Activities will include working with delivery capability manager, sourcing team members , factory interfaces within US and other regions areas.
Must be pursuing a BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Material management, or procurement. Experience in electronics manufacturing process and project planning experience a plus. Must be able to communicate well in spoken and written English, work well in a team environment, and work independently on project work. Ablility to drive prodcut change management from operations point of view. Exposure to bill of materials and design of excellence (DfX) principles and manufacturing process is plus.
Proficient with MS office tools such as MS Project, Outlook, Powerpoint, MS Excel.
